Solar Living Institute Instructor, Doug Livingston, provides grid-connected solar installation training and customer workshops June 2nd through June 9th.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) May 11, 2007 -- Verde Energy, the first company to provide customers a trusted source for competitive quotes on solar power, solar thermal, and wind power projects, in association with Cherokee Diversified and Solar Living Instructor, Doug Livingston, announced today upcoming solar installation training and customer seminars in north Texas.

Doug Livingston of the Solar Living Institute will conduct a four-day grid-connected solar boot camp for installers and electricians, as well as two one-day seminars for builders, homeowners, and businesses thinking about going solar.

"As the solar market continues to grow, so does the need for qualified, well trained professionals to meet customer demand. Education and training is a key element in ensuring the continued level of quality in delivery of PV systems," said Chris Frothingham, chief operations officer for Verde Energy. "We are pleased to join with Cherokee Diversified in extending the access to PV training in Texas."

Cherokee Diversified Services was founded by master electrician Gary Mitchell. Gary achieved a master electrician rating in 1984, and has managed and supervised numerous commercial projects in the Dallas area for educational institutions, residential and commercial customers, industrial installations and government buildings.

"We are delighted to have Doug Livingston here to provide solar installation training and customer seminars, and would like to invite interested electricians and customers to reserve their space now," said Gary Mitchell, Cherokee Diversified founder and president. "The market for solar and wind power systems in Texas is growing quickly and we are very interested in seeing customers receive the best possible service from installers, and for installers to be safe on the job."

Workshops will be held in Terrell, Texas. The four-day installation training begins June 2nd and continues through June 5th. The one-day seminars for interested customers are available on June 8th and June 9th. Visit the Cherokee Diversified web site at http://www.ckdsi.com for pricing details and to reserve a seat for any of the workshops.
