Franklin, TN (PRWEB) May 11, 2007

Sum Effect Software, Inc., a leading developer of web-based applications, today announced digiSHOP ecommerce software is now fully integrated with the new USPS rate quote changes which take effect on May 14, 2007.

These new changes include higher First Class mail rates, additional options for First Class and large Priority Mail packages. There have also been changes in regards to international shipping types. If you do not start using the new API by May 14th, then your rate quotes will be lower than the current rate.

"We have quickly upgraded digiSHOP to make sure our store owners can give accurate rate quotes from USPS" said Matt DeLong, Sum Effect Software, Inc. President/CEO. "The changes by USPS can really affect the bottom line for a company if they are undercharging customers shipping and being forced to eat the cost."
