Agentrics, SINFOS Shareholders Announce Intent to Form Data Synchronization Joint Venture
Agentrics, Pironet NDH and GS1 Germany to address growing need for critical mass in item data synchronization between global retailers and manufacturers.
Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) May 10, 2007 -- Agentrics (www.agentrics.com) announced today it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Pironet NDH and GS1 Germany to form a joint venture that combines the Agentrics GenSync business unit and SINFOS, the leading European data synchronization solution provider owned by Pironet NDH and GS1 Germany.
This new company will focus on accelerating the adoption of global data synchronization by retailers and consumer goods manufacturers as it unites the expertise, technologies, service organizations and customer bases of Agentrics and SINFOS. The new company will serve over 3,000 customers, including more than 50 of the world's largest retailers, effectively resulting in the world's largest data pool
"Agentrics and SINFOS have the combined strength to accelerate the adoption of data synchronization as a shared, standard business practice between retailers and manufacturers," said Christopher K. Pending due diligence and final board approval, the new company will be formed later this year. It will have data synchronization operations and partnerships in more than 15 European countries, as well as the U.S. and Japan.
