The Wave Gathering Festival Returns For 2nd Year
The Wave Gathering Festival returns to Asbury Park for its second year and Upstage Magazine is once again the place for all of your festival coverage from online schedules to local area information and everything in between.
Asbury Park, NJ (PRWEB) May 12, 2007 -- The Wave Gathering Festival is returning to Asbury Park, NJ this May 18-20th and Upstage Magazine is once again the place for the most complete festival coverage available from online schedules to local area information and everything in between.
The Wave Gathering Festival had a successful debut last year and will be three times as large this year with over 170 acts from the tri-state area and beyond. With shows around the clock, the best place to find out where to go is at www.upstagemagazine.com/wave - Upstage Magazine's online preview not only has schedules available for each day, each venue, and each region of Asbury Park but this year the online preview offers a customized schedule that allows users to choose the artists they wish to see and create their own personalized print-out to take with them to the festival.
In addition to the online schedules, Upstage Magazine provides information on the local area (directions, hotels, restaurants, etc.) for those traveling to Asbury Park for the weekend; full bios of each artist and links to their websites, a section that allows visitors to vote for their favorite Wave Festival artists, and picks from Upstage about the best shows to see and how to see as much music as possible during the weekend.
This year's online preview also debuts the Wave Pod featuring tunes from several artists playing the festival to go along with the daily preview (1:30pm - 5pm) broadcast around the world on www.UpstageRadio.com every weekday until the day of the festival.
"Last year's Wave Gathering Festival was a great weekend of music," said Gary Wien, Editor of Upstage Magazine. "This year's festival promises to be even better with a solid roster of local acts to go along with incredible artists from around the country. People may know Asbury Park because of artists like Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi but this festival will show just how diverse the local music scene really is."
