Fond Du Lac, WI (PRWEB) May 12, 2007 -- Author S. William Shaw presents lovers of fantasy fiction with two new fantastic novels, Sherman Oak and the Magic Potato, and The Santa Mysteries.
Sherman Oak and the Magic Potato is a story of Sherman Oak, a bullied boy who is taken away to a strange land by a magic potato. There, he must complete a journey filled with mosquito skeletons, snakes that wind from the sky, a haunted cottage, cactus outlaws, and a one hundred foot pus-oozing behemoth. If Sherman fails, his family and school mates will remain trapped in the land forever.
In The Santa Mysteries, three friends stow away aboard Santa's sleigh with the hopes of exploring the North Pole, and returning home to write a tell-all book and make a gazillion dollars. But this plan is taken on a detour when their curiosity results in Santa being abducted by aliens. Along with his friends Darcy and Pickle, and a robot named Algore, Bennett travels across the stars to the icy planet of Tundra 57. If he fails to overcome the penguin fruit aliens and the football-headed tripods, Christmas will never be the same.
"My stories appeal to readers of all ages," said S. William Shaw. "If you like the Harry Potter series, the Wizard of Oz books, or the Narnia series, you'll feel right at home reading these two fantastic adventures. Both books are filled with colorful characters, and amazing and unique creatures and places."
