Real Digital Media CEO to Participate on Digital Signage Expo 2007 Panel Discussion

Panel discussion focusing on the operational best practices for distributing anytime, anywhere content targeting multiple sites, dayparts and audiences.

Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) May 14, 2007 -- Real Digital Media (RDM), a leading provider of next generation digital signage products for establishing point of purchase marketing, promotions and corporate communication networks, today announced that Ken Goldberg, CEO of Real Digital Media, will participate in a panel discussion at the Digital Signage Expo 2007. The panel discussion, entitled "Enabling Bull's Eye Targeting", is scheduled for Wednesday, May 16th, 2007 from 3:00-4:00 pm, CST at the Navy Pier Exhibition Hall in Chicago, Illinois.

Panelists include Kalpesh Vyas, CEO, The Pharmacy Channel; Tommy Teepell, CMO, Lamar Advertising; Susie Opare-Abetia, VP Product Development, PRN; and Ken Goldberg, Chief Executive Officer, Real Digital Media.

The discussion will focus on the technological obstacles for distributing anytime, anywhere content, and outline the operational best practices to navigate the landmines that come with targeting multiple sites, dayparts and audiences. These leading industry executives on the panel will provide insight into the process of developing and executing a content strategy as well as meeting the opportunities and challenges inherent in maximizing the impact of digital signage networks for an intended audience.

Moderator and panelist Ken Goldberg will be focusing on the technical and practical challenges of targeted messaging in today's evolving retail digital signage environment.

"The promise of targeted, relevant messaging is the very essence of the narrowcasting value proposition", said Ken Goldberg, CEO of Real Digital Media. "Delivery of that promise is dependent upon many factors and upon specific choices made by network owners. The panel's goal is to help attendees understand the challenges, as well as offer some real life examples of how these challenges have been met in our industry to date."

Laura Davis-Taylor, the founder and principal of Retail Media Consulting LLC and co-chair for this year's Digital Signage Expo adds, "When it comes to digital signage, today's retailer must fully understand the issues they face, the intent for the signage, and the content required to fulfill the intent. The purpose of these panels is to help teach retailers how to ask the right questions to arrive at these answers, and to learn from industry leaders who are helping shape the best practices for digital signage implementations."

Digital Signage Expo, a trade show with a full conference program, serves the fast-growing digital signage, private network and interactive solutions industry and is our largest event. It has experienced a rapid growth since its inception in late 2004, growing attendance and exhibitor support each and every year. Our 2007 event is our largest ever from an exhibitor standpoint and is expected to set all-time attendance records.
