Can an Interracial Business Survive in 21st Century London?
Yes it can! In 2000, EMC3 were denied even the opportunity to open a bank account, today EMC3 celebrates a 7 year journey to the very top of the lifestyle and entertainment business. EMC3 is a real life story of David and Goliath, according to co-founder Baba Jallah Epega "When we started the business, we were received with a lot of sceptism, they say perserverance is the little sister of success."
(PRWEB) May 16, 2007 -- EMC3 announces and introduces its ground breaking hub of wide-ranging bespoke experiences, marketing, super brands and individuals alike, creative events, concierge and conferences. EMC3 brings extensive industry know how and personal charisma to an energetic and enterprising company led by the successful cross cultural business minds of Baba-Jallah Epega and Alistair Graham.

A graduate in Economics and Spanish from London's Queen Mary University, born in Nigeria, Baba spent the first 7 years working in Finance in the City, variously as a Interest Rates Swaps Broker at Garban Intercapital and Barclays Capital, a US Bond Analyst at Bloomberg TV and a Futures and Options Trader for Droubi Trust -- it was following a sabbatical in China and living the life of a Bon Viveur that led him to his true vocation. A handshake and a brief conversation that led to stories about partying days with the legendary James Dean, told to him in the late 1990's by veteran Hollywood actor Dennis Hopper at an MTV Awards event -- sold him on the idea of being a party organiser and a Lifestyle enhancer. 'I was blown away by the great tales of these extraordinary and larger than life personalities together with the sheer professionalism and excitement of the event I was attending, it was then that the thought crossed my mind that this was something that could be brought in a strategic and bespoke way to the masses. It was here that my journey into the world of Events Management began.'
Born in Hertfordshire, just 30 miles North of Central London, Alistair Graham's hospitality career started at the Savoy Hotel which led him to a Senior Management position, where he worked with Anton Edelman. He was headhunted from there to manage Antonio Carluccio's 'Neal Street Restaurant', where he spent two enjoyable years. Following a short stint at Ernst & Young as Financial Controller for catering operations, he travelled the world experiencing many diverse cultures and points of view, giving him new perspective and scope. He went on to set up a develop a number of businesses including Coffee.com and Dinner Broker for a group of San Francisco based investors, it was from here he joined forces with Baba to set up EMC3.
