GeniusConnect is happy to announce the release of version 4 which includes support for attachments in Outlook. With this release it is now possible to store attachments located in Outlook to your database or retrieve this information back into Outlook or Exchange.

With this release it is now possible to store attachments located in Outlook to your database or retrieve this information back into Outlook. This has been one of the most frequently requested feature from users of GeniusConnect, so we hope that it will prove to be a very valuable tool for our customers.

Besides e-mail attachments, the follow is also supported:
-Contact pictures (Outlook 2003 and higher):
Since Outlook stores Contact pictures as a special attachment type, it is possible to synchronize also Contact pictures with databases.
-HTMLBody (all Outlook item types - Contact, Tasks, Calendar etc..):
HTML body can contain embedded images or other objects, so Outlook stores these
objects also as attachments. It is now possible to save these objects using GeniusConnect!
