GridGain Systems announced today availability of the first public release of GridGain project, an enterprise open source grid computing platform for Java. GridGain 1.0.1 is available for immediate download at www.gridgain.com/downloads.html. It requires Java 5 or higher and supports all major operating systems including Windows NT/2000/2003/XP/Vista, Linux, Mac OS X and major UNIX brands. GridGain is licensed under LGPL and can be used and modified in commercial environment with almost no restrictions.
