PocketTalk's voice e-mail allows a user to send compressed files using the underlying MASC® technology with very high quality reproduction compared to other compression technologies such as ITU-T or ETSI standards based codecs. MASC® based voice e-mail, in comparison to uncompressed PCM .wav files, enhances the mobile user experience with outstanding voice quality in limited bandwidth wireless data networks and on limited memory SmartPhone and Pocket PC devices.
