Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) May 23, 2007 -- A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the grand opening of the Welcome Center for Renaissance Park, Wakefield Development Company's newest master-planned community. Raleigh city officials and Wakefield Development Company executives, along with builder representatives, were on hand to witness Charles Meeker, Raleigh mayor, and John Myers, president of Wakefield Development Company, cut the ribbon at the first technology-driven Wakefield Development Company community. "We are grateful for all the support we have received from the city and county officials and our many business partners in the community," said John Myers. "The Welcome Center is the perfect centerpiece of the Renaissance Park community, where forward-thinking technological features will be combined with traditional southern architecture."
Located in southeast Raleigh, Renaissance Park will feature the best of city living, culture and convenience, close to the rapidly growing downtown area, while incorporating innovative technology and Wi-Fi access scattered throughout the community.
