Industry Leader in WiFi Tools Cognio Announces Podcast Series for Wireless Businesses

Cognio, the industry leader in WiFi analysis, has recently added informative, in-depth podcasts to its arsenal of tools available to wireless business owners and IT staffs. The podcasts will cover a wide range of topics to help listeners better understand and solve common wireless interference issues.

(PRWEB) May 16, 2007 -- Wireless networks have revolutionized the way many businesses operate, but they have also ushered in a new series of challenges. Cognio has recently added informative, in-depth podcasts to its arsenal of tools available to wireless-enabled businesses. The podcasts, titled 'RF Matters', will cover a wide range of topics to help listeners better understand and solve common wireless interference issues.

"Our series of in-depth podcasts really brings forth helpful resources to companies to help them better understand what RF interference detection and analysis is all about," says William Flanagan, Vice President of Marketing for Cognio. "In our series we feature one of our RF trainers, Jim Florwick, as he walks listeners through a variety of important topics. The first group of podcasts in the series will be devoted on the topics of FFT Duty Cycle and Real-time FFT Plot."

Cognio.com has already served as a valuable resource for wireless businesses and IT departments by providing detailed white papers, reports and downloadable demo software. The podcasts are the latest addition to their spectrum of WiFi tools focused on eliminating the interferences that cause more than half of all breakdowns in wireless networks.

Cognio's spectrum analyzer software, Spectrum Expert, is the only technology solution capable of classifying and locating sources of interfering devices. RF interference can come from devices like microwave ovens, cordless phones, security cameras and others. Spectrum Expert allows users to identify, lock onto and locate each device using a laptop computer.

"We are trying to pave the way for better RF clarity for businesses that have wireless networks," explains Flanagan. "As more companies adopt WiFi to more business critical applications, the need to know why or what is causing wireless connectivity loss or performance lags is essential. Our solution helps manifest that visibility of what is going on in the wireless 'air.'"

RF Matters podcast series is now available on iTunes at: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=254819600, as well as at cognio.com.
