Flatburger Receives $5M Series A and Recruits High-Tech CTO Justin Law

Flatburger, Inc., today announced that it has secured $5 million in series A funding. The funding round was co-led by Intersouth Partners of Reston, VA, and Amplifier Venture Partners of McLean, VA. Both firms led the seed round making this their second investment in the company.

The company further announced the hire of Justin Law as Chief Technology Officer, relocating from Bellevue, WA, where he was Senior Director of Mobile Search at InfoSpace®. There Law was responsible for the development and distribution of Mobile Search engines across Tier 1 carriers in the United States and Europe. Law also has a significant amount of experience in the online marketing arena including as Product Principal for Search & Advertising with American Online® where he was responsible for the invention, development and deployment of patent pending technologies in both web search and advertising.

Law brings more than a decade of accomplishments within technology and product leadership across mobile, search, advertising and e-commerce industries. This experience spans Fortune 500 to venture-backed technology start-ups with broad ranging responsibilities including general management, team leadership, business strategy, product launch and market share expansion.
