Tell a Friend About Discounted Airport Parking and Save Five Rainforest Trees
Airport Parking and Hotels (APH) has extended its relationship with green charity, the World Land Trust, to help save even more Rainforest Trees. For every new customer booking an airport parking space or airport hotel package through www.aphoffers.co.uk following a recommendation from an existing APH customer, Airport Parking and Hotels will donate £1 to the World Land Trust. The recommended customer will also get 10% discounted off pre-booked rates of participating car parks and hotel and parking packages.
Holborn, London (PRWEB) May 19, 2007 -- The £1 will purchase and save at least five large trees in various parts of the world including a rainforest conservation project in Ecuador. To date APH has helped to purchase more than 200,000 large trees in the Belize Rainforest through money raised over the last three years.
Nick Caunter, managing director of APH said, "The environmental impact of air travel is a major worry for many of our customers. We believe it is extremely important for companies like ours to offer travellers every chance to at least partially offset the impact of their travel. This is a simple way of doing it and has a double benefit in that airport park and ride does less environmental harm than having a friend or taxi take you to the airport because road miles are reduced."
The World Land Trust is an international conservation charity. Since its foundation in 1989 the charity has been working to preserve the world's most biologically important and threatened lands, and has helped purchase and protect over 300,000 acres of habitats rich in wildlife in Belize, Costa Rica, the Philippines, South America and the UK.
