HRchitect to Present Several Educational Tracks at IHRIM 2007 Conference
HRchitect, the premier Human Capital Management (HCM) consulting services firm, and the market leader in Talent Management Systems (TMS) consulting, will be presenting four different educational sessions at this year’s IHRIM Conference in Houston, May 20-23.
Frisco, TX (PRWEB) May 18, 2007 -- HRchitect, the premier Human Capital Management (HCM) consulting services firm, and the market leader in Talent Management Systems (TMS) consulting, will be presenting four different educational sessions at this year’s IHRIM Conference in Houston, May 20-23.
HRchitect has been increasingly asked to share their expertise in HCM systems and strategic planning through speaking engagements at user and industry conferences as well as contributors to articles and publications. Earlier this month, Business Development Director Matt Lafata presented at the Authoria Customer Conference on “Getting the Longest Life out of your Authoria solution.”
“The presentation at the Authoria conference talked about avoiding the seven most common failures that cause talent management systems to be replaced,” stated Matt Lafata, Director of Business Development with HRchitect. “As the leading talent management systems consulting firm, our experience has shown us that the majority of talent management systems are replaced due to customer 'failure' and not due to items such as vendor viability, product roadmap or poor support. The session comes from real life experiences and is a session that could be tailored to almost any vendor conference. A similar presentation was given earlier this year at the Deploy user conference and the Vurv user conference.”
On Monday, May 21, “Managing to Avoid the Mess and Aggravation of Mergers and Acquisitions” will be presented by HRchitect Director of Consulting Services, John Hinojos, along with Robert Loller, Senior VP of Citigroup. This presentation will discuss experiences we have had with multiple M&A conversion challenges, including various stages of M&A activity (from deal to conversion); reaction you should expect from employees; and tools needed to conquer many of the obstacles of M&A activity.
Also on Monday, May 21, “Understanding Talent Management and its Impact on HR Systems” will be a discussion panel facilitated by Damon Lovett, HRMS Director of First American Corporation. It will include Rick Fletcher, President and Co-Founder of HRchitect along with Jim Spoor, Chairman of Spectrum HR Systems Corporation. This group discussion will demystify the world of Talent Management by reviewing the different components of Talent Management and discuss how each one interrelates and impacts the other.
On Wednesday, May 23, “Decision Drivers – The Cornerstone of Effective Human Capital Management System Selections” will be presented by HRchitect Senior Consultant Brian Kimball, and HRchitect VP of Consulting Services and Co-Founder, Dan Katavola. This session will discuss the importance of decision drivers when selecting an HR system, when they are defined, the definition of best practice decision drivers, how they are used in the evaluation and selection process, and how information is gathered on each decision driver.
Also on Wednesday, “Building the Post-Modern HR System – A Web Services Primer and Projections” will be presented by HRchitect Senior Consultant, Bennie Reddin. This presentation will discuss the principles and technologies underlying Web Services and why a good understanding of Web Services features and benefits will help you to better evaluate vendor offerings and IT initiatives.
“HRchitect has a tremendous amount of collective knowledge and insight into HCM strategies and systems and how to make sense of an ever-changing and confusing marketplace,” added Rick Fletcher, President and Co-Founder of HRchitect. “I’ve been around this industry for 23 years and have found education essential to helping to avoid costly mistakes when making HR technology related decisions. Companies and people should do themselves a big favor and use a consulting firm like HRchitect or at the very least, attend educational conferences or webinars conducted by industry experts to make better informed decisions.”
Come visit HRchitect at booth 600 in Houston at the IHRIM 2007 conference and technology expo. HRchitect attended the WorldatWork conference earlier this week in Orlando and will also be at numerous industry trade shows and user conferences both as an exhibitor and a featured speaker on Talent Management Systems and Human Capital Management (HCM) Strategic Planning throughout 2007.
