U.S. Fund for UNICEF Awards Integrated Marketing Responsibilities to Eastwest Marketing Group

The U.S. Fund for UNICEF (USF) has assigned Eastwest Marketing Group to handle integrated marketing responsibilites, assisting the US based national committee of the world's largest humanitarian organization to develop awareness-building, fundraising and corporate partnership programs for its new clean water initiative - the Tap Project, and its iconic Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF program.

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 19, 2007 -- The U.S. Fund for UNICEF (USF) has assigned Eastwest Marketing Group to handle integrated marketing responsibilities, assisting the U.S.-based national committee of the world's largest humanitarian organization to develop awareness-building, fundraising, and corporate partnership programs for its new clean water initiative, the Tap Project, and its iconic Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF program.

The purpose of the Tap Project is to raise funds for UNICEF's programs that save children's lives by providing safe drinking water to children around the world. The project includes the development of an awareness-building platform, opportunities for national consumer participation, and sponsorship programs for the USF's TAP Project. Held annually on March 22nd, World Water Day, the Tap Project drives awareness of the world water crisis and raises funds by inviting patrons of participating restaurants to pay $1.00 for the tap water that is typically served free of charge.

Eastwest Marketing Group will also be analyzing the USF's highly successful Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF program in order to help expand and grow this highly successful, 57-year-old program through new fundraising and corporate sponsorship platforms.
