Quest CE to Turn Course Content into eBooks
Quest CE will offer their online continuing education (CE) content in an electronic, "printable" format.
(PRWEB) May 19, 2007 -- Quest CE will offer their online continuing education (CE) content in an electronic, "printable" format.
"It's another way we can get the valuable information contained within our courses to licensed reps as well as non-licensed individuals looking to learn more about various investment options," said Alan Krenke, President and CEO of Quest.
Currently Quest offers eight of their 70-plus courses in an eBook format, with plans to create more in the future. The difference between eBooks and regular online courses is the format in which they are delivered.
"The courses offered through our Learning Management System allow students to read a paragraph or two and then click to the next page of text," said Mike Halvorsen, Manager of Marketing Communications for Quest. "They aren't in a format conducive to printing, so the eBooks are a nice option."
Quest's eBooks are in a PDF format and can be printed so people don't have to read the course content online. If they need CE credit, they can take request to take a brief exam and mail or fax it into Quest for grading. Quest then processes the course completion with the state and sends a certificate of completion to the student.
Quest's eBooks retail for between $14.95 and $29.95. There is an additional $5 fee to have an eBook printed, bound and mailed to you.
