Wiki Inventor Ward Cunningham Joins AboutUs
Oregon company facilitates user-generated data on millions of organizations and websites while promoting collaboration and web fluency.
Portland, Ore. (PRWEB) May 21, 2007 -- Ward Cunningham, the internationally known inventor of the web technology known as "wiki" will join AboutUs as Chief Technology Officer. Cunningham's invention is considered to be the most open and collaborative of all platforms for creating and organizing websites--topping even forums and weblogs.
AboutUs, an open content wiki company founded in 2005, harnesses the collaborative nature of wikis to create a wide ranging web-based resource about commercial and general information.
