Supplier Excellence Alliance Member Conference Set for June 14, 2007

Supplier Excellence Alliance will hold a Member Conference in Wichita Kansas on June 14, 2007 hosted by Cessna Aircraft Company.

Irvine, California (PRWEB) May 23, 2007 -- The next Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) Member Conference will take place on June 14, 2007 in Wichita, Kansas. Cessna Aircraft Company will host the conference, including an opening Reception on the evening of June 13, 2007.

SEA is non-profit alliance of aerospace and defense industry prime contractors, tier-one suppliers and other leading supplier organizations, SEA's purpose is to accelerate supply chain performance. SEA Member Conferences are educational forums designed to keep supplier company senior executives up to date on key industry changes, trends, and business opportunities.

Benoit Brossoit, Vice President of Operations for Pratt & Whitney, Canada, will be the Keynote Speaker. Mr. Brossoit will share his insights on how Pratt & Whitney completely revamped and innovated its engine build process to meet the needs of its customers.

The Member Conference agenda also includes a dynamic simulation that will highlight the need for fundamental collaboration. It will be facilitated by SEA Industry Practice Leader for Leadership & Culture, Karen Trisko.

The Member Conference will also feature presentations by three supplier company executives on each firm has expanded its capabilities and improved its performance through implementation of the SEA Lean Enterprise System (LES). The LES is the continuous improvement system designed by the industry to accelerate supply chain performance. The LES leverages lean production techniques across a supplier's entire enterprise, provides a clear Roadmap for improvement, and common terminology.

A special feature of the Conference will be its focus on integrated supply chains, including examples of integrated supply chains at work, the levels of performance needed for suppliers to participate, and the opportunities for new top-line business.
