Memorizing multiplication tables is an essential part of elementary education. A student who has mastered multiplication gains a solid foundation for achievement in mathematics throughout high school and beyond. Failing to master multiplication skills is a slippery slope: Simply, there's no way to advance without the basics. Math Games Multiplication for Windows is a learning tool that is designed to help with just that.
As the game starts, the user selects the main number to learn. For example, if you want to memorize the multiplication table for the number 5, click on "5". The next screen contains a display showing the question, a keypad for entering the answer, and a friendly robot along with his team of helpful characters that assist students in answering the questions correctly.
The quiz consists of 10 questions. Once all the questions are answered, the student has the option of repeating the incorrectly answered questions (if any), replaying the entire quiz, or starting another quiz.
The new game is free for personal use. Schools and other organizations should contact Sierra Vista Software regarding site licenses.
