Dragon Keepers Movie in Development and Soon to go into Production

With three producers located in the USA and one producer in Australia, Dragon Keepers is going into development and will soon be in production to be shot in New Zealand and Australia.

(PRWEB) May 29, 2007 -- It wasn't long ago when the first of the "Harry Potter" movies hit the big screen. The next big hit for kids as well as fantasy/adventure lovers will be coming to the big screen in the fall of 2008. The name of this new series of movies is "Dragon Keepers". These movies will be based on a series of books written by Bruce Goldwell, the author of several self-help books as well as the "Dragon Keepers" books.

The Producers for "Dragon Keepers" are Jeffrey B. Mallian (JBM Production Inc), Tonia Madenford (ScreenAddiction), Azriel Roneel Prasad (an Australian Producer/Line Producer) and Bruce Goldwell (Author/Producer). Mr. Goldwell is currently putting together the Development funds for "Dragon Keepers" and once the Development is complete, the Team will raise the $14.5 million to produce the movie. The movie will be filmed in Australia and New Zealand with Azriel Prasad helping head Australian production team.

The story is about Merlin the Magician who starts out at 13 years old in the first book and will age throughout the 7 book series to become the grey-haired wizard known for the Knights of the Round Table and King Authur. In book I, Merlin becomes an official dragon keeper and is given charge of the new born baby of Merlineld, the most powerful dragon in the world.
