Software Best Practices Conference to be Held in New York, NY on November 1, 2007

CAI and the IT Metrics and Productivity Institute are hosting a one-day seminar in New York, NY on November 1, 2007 that will show CIOs and senior IT practitioners how to leverage software best practices to dramatically improve the productivity and quality of their software development and maintenance organizations.

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 25, 2007 -- CAI and the IT Metrics and Productivity Institute are hosting a one-day seminar in New York, NY on November 1, 2007 that will show CIOs and senior IT practitioners how to leverage software best practices to dramatically improve the productivity and quality of their software development and maintenance organizations.

The conference will include keynote presentations by Watts Humphrey, Founder of the Software Process Program at Carnegie Mellon's Software Engineering Institute (SEI), Dr. Vic Basili, Director of the Fraunhofer Center for Experimental Software Engineering at the University of Maryland, Capers Jones, noted author and Chief Scientist Emeritus of Software Productivity Research, Tony Salvaggio, President of CAI and Founder of the IT Metrics and Productivity Institute, and Bob Lawhorn, CTO of CAI. The venue for the conference will be the Marriott Marquis at 1535 Broadway. The event is a full day catered affair with breakfast and lunch included.
