Channel Announces US/Canadian Tour Dates
Indie rock band Channel launches 2nd consecutive US/Canadian tour on June 23rd in NYC at The Knitting Factor. The tour is in support of the band’s new album “Androgyny Is In” produced by Mario McNulty. Tour stops include returns to Brooklyn, Ottawa and Boston.
(Billboard Publicity Wire/PRWEB ) May 25, 2007 -- SMI Music Group announces tour dates in support of the band’s new album titled “Androgyny Is In” (On Sale 07/1/2007), the album was produced by Mario McNulty (Bowie, Morrissey, Iggy Pop), Channel will tour Canada and the US for the 2nd consecutive year, visiting new cities including Morgantown WV, Baltimore MD and Philadelphia PA. Tour producer SMI Music Group is proud to announce that the Massachusetts-based band will kick off the 2007 summer tour on June 23 in New York City at the legendary rock club “The Knitting Factory”.
Fans can expect additional cities all along the East Coast and Canada to be announced in the coming weeks. Confirmed cities so far are listed below.
Channel has been recording albums since 2004 with the bands first release “Perpetual Motion”, followed by the 2006 release of “Inch Deep Oceans” which is currently playing on some of the nation's top college radio stations including Case-Western, Carnegie Mellon and Brock University in Canada.
