VSG Has Been Chosen by Sony Electronics to Design and Build Mobile Production Vehicles
Mobile production and electronics specialists join forces for a completely production-ready system on wheels.
East Rutherford, NJ (PRWEB) May 29, 2007 -- Venue Services Group, Inc. (VSG) has been chosen by Sony Electronics to design and build video production trailers, which Sony will sell under the name Mobile Video Producer (MVP). Sony plans to offer SD and HD versions of the MVP, with prices ranging from $500,000 to $1,500,000. Every MVP is a complete turnkey state-of-the-art production facility on wheels, loaded with up to six cameras, a production switcher, monitoring, video recorders, broadcast graphics, full I/O panel, HVAC and more.
All equipment in the MVP is ergonomically integrated inside a 24-foot trailer, which can be moved with a standard towing package. The MVP is designed and built with the same features and robustness of high-end full sized production vehicles. These trailers are ideal for regional sports and entertainment coverage at colleges and high schools, as well as for public events, religious worship, mobile security and government applications. Each MVP unit is completely production-ready, with full documentation and backed by Sony's Support Network.
The MVP-02, a complete HD production unit based on Sony's XDCAM format, was featured at this year's NAB. The vehicle included three Sony HDCW 300 cameras and one PDWF-350 XDCAM Camcorder, MVS-200 switcher, Sony Luma Monitoring, Chryon LX CG, a Mackie 16X4 Audio console among other state-of-the-art equipment.
