International 450 Association Elects New Chairman

Tina Radford Elected New Chairman of IA450 at Plenary #7 in Cancun Mexico

Cancun, Mexico (PRWEB) June 7, 2007 -- Vice chairman Colin Chandler today announced the International 450 Association (IA450) elected a new chairman to the organization. Tina Radford, who currently supports terminal strategy and procurement activities for Telemobil S.A. (Zapp Romania) and Nordisk Mobiltelefon AB Sweden, was elected as chairman during the Plenary Meeting #7 held in Cancun, Mexico on May 17th. At the same meeting, Konstantin Kolemensky (SkyLink) was re-elected to the board and Kim Haneke (Axesstel) was elected as a new board member.

Radford has more than 15 years sourcing and program management experience in the telecommunications industry spanning CDMA450, TETRA, Analogue 450 LEMS, GSM and ETACS with a particular focus on developing strong partnerships with key global suppliers around the world.

With the strong uptake of CDMA450 around the world, the IA450 needs to reach out to all corners of the globe to provide guidance and support not only to existing members, but also to new comers considering operating, investing or supplying this market

CDMA450 technology is already in use in over 60 countries around the world and continues to grow, offering affordable 3G services in emerging as well as densely populated, highly competitive markets. Just last week, four new companies were accepted as members of the association; three operators and one vendor, bringing our total membership to 40
