InfoSource Learning releases interactive Alabama Teacher Technology Standards Web-Based Training

New content library will help Alabama educators meet IMPACT technology standards.

Winter Park, FL (PRWEB) May 31, 2007 -- InfoSource Learning, a leader in self-paced computer- and web-based training solutions, today announced the release of its Alabama Teacher Technology Standards (ATTS) web-based training content. The ATTS interactive content library contains training and assessment tools mapped specifically to the technology standards set forth in Alabama's Indicators for Measuring Progress in Advancing Classroom Technology (IMPACT) technology plan.

In addition to containing 329 interactive web-based lessons, the content library contains prescriptive training and testing, allowing learners to "test out" training subjects they have already mastered. Each lesson also features InfoSource Learning's interactive learning approach, where learners "learn by doing" by clicking objects on the simulated desktop to achieve lesson objectives. This interactive learning approach increases learner efficiency and results in more effective skill retention.

Tom Dalton, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at InfoSource Learning, said, "We're proud to be offering our interactive web-based training content mapped directly to the teacher technology standards contained in Alabama's IMPACT technology plan. We look forward to continuing to help Alabama school districts train and assess their teachers on the IMPACT technology standards."

Tom Warrner, President of InfoSource Learning, had the following comments about the company's release of the new Microsoft Office 2007 training: "Just as the IMPACT standards affect every teacher in the state of Alabama, our Alabama Teacher Technology Standards interactive training and assessment tools will potentially impact tens of thousands of teachers in the state of Alabama. With this product release, every school district in the state of Alabama has a resource available to train and assess teachers on the IMPACT teacher technology standards."
