WorkWise, Inc., provider of enterprise-wide solutions that enable manufacturers to maximize profits through improved use of their information assets, announced this week the release of Version 8.2 of its Time Critical Manufacturing (TCM) suite of ERP applications.
TCM Version 8.2 is available for the Microsoft Windows operating system. This feature rich release is a prelude to TCM V8.2SQL which is scheduled for release fall 2007.
New functionality is the cornerstone of Version 8.2 from WorkWise and includes: Direct Fulfillment which allows the calculation of a promise date based of available capacity and material and the scheduling of a shop order directly from Customer Order Processing all from a single screen, a new Lean Manufacturing Module supporting Kanban techniques for both manufactured and purchased processes, and TCM CRM (Customer Relationship Management), supporting opportunity tracking, marketing campaigns, account management, customer service, and full MS Outlook integration.
In addition, further enhancements have been made to functionality previously unveiled in earlier releases, such as drag and drop scheduling techniques within the Visual Schedulers Workbench allowing for ease of scheduling and rescheduling of shop orders.
TCM version 8.2 also incorporates WorkWise's commitment to third party integration of products including seamless integrations to: ADP's Taxware, Dash's JetStream Visual Scheduler which supports shop-order-less scheduling of orders and Order Express Shipping for shipping and logistics.
TCM Version 8.2 is available to ship to the general public as well as the large WorkWise customer base throughout the United States and Pacific Rim that currently utilize the TCM applications to run their enterprise.
Wayne Wedell, President of WorkWise states, "TCM Version 8.2 encompasses a unique combination of value added enterprise functionality as well as technology advancements that will accelerate our customer's benefits of their TCM Manufacturing System.
