Altico Sponsors Dynamics CRM Webinar: A Day in the Life of a Sales Exec

Earlier this month, Altico Advisors (www.AlticoAdvisors.com), a Microsoft Certified Partner, provided an opportunity for 50 sales professionals to Experience Microsoft Dynamics CRM during a one-hour Web seminar entitled "A Day in the Life of a Sales Exec." While most CRM systems address three business areas - sales, marketing, and service, this presentation focused exclusively on Sales Force Automation (aka SFA). Participants walked through the live application and saw how a Sales Executive would use CRM to organize the day and get the job done, from the first cup of morning coffee, through pipeline reviews with the sales reps, to the last call of the day placed to a prospect on the verge of making a purchase decision.

The live scenario presentation zeroed in on some essential elements of Sales Force Automation that Dynamics CRM streamlines and automates with alerts and work flows:

  • Tracking leads, prospects, and opportunities
  • Real time sales data
  • Pipeline management
  • Generating quotes and orders

The featured speaker was Altico's CRM specialist, Tracy Jones, a veteran user of CRM systems. Participants saw the familiar look and feel of the Microsoft CRM Outlook client, the Web access, the ease of navigation, the simplicity of customization, report generation, and search queries, among other features.
