Alsbridge announced today that it has appointed Barry Weiss as Managing Director. In this role, Mr. Weiss will leverage his more than 20 years of experience in the outsourcing business to lead the Firm's HR outsourcing practice as well as take an active position in leading clients to design and implement innovative strategic sourcing, outsourcing, shared services and offshoring solutions.
Mr. Weiss joins Alsbridge after spending five years as an outsourcing executive at Hewitt Associates LLC and Exult Inc. At Hewitt, Mr. Weiss led the company's multi-process HR outsourcing deals teams to handle large transactions that typically involved payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, contact centers, and usually one or more of recruiting, learning, global relocation and other services. Under his leadership he closed several billion dollars in multi-year contract value with firms such as Sun Microsystems, Marriott, Thomson Financial, PepsiCo and Duke Energy adding to transactions he led while at Exult, which merged with Hewitt in 2004. Previous to Exult, Mr. Weiss was a practicing lawyer having built and led global outsourcing and transactional law practices at Cooley Godward and firms in Chicago, Illinois.
