InterAct Public Safety Systems Sponsors Cool Globe For Global Warming Awareness

InterAct Public Safety Systems is sponsoring a globe on behalf of the Cool Globes project to be featured in Chicago, June through September. The InterAct globe is designed by Joe Burlini and represents peace and international relations.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 4, 2007 -- The words "global warming" tend to strike a nerve in everyone these days. No matter what your feelings on the topic are, the issue of global warming is being debated among presidential candidates and the issue is here to stay. InterAct Public Safety Systems, a leading provider of safety and security technology software used by private businesses as well as local, state, national and international government agencies, is sponsoring a globe at the new "Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet" exhibition taking place in Chicago, IL, this summer, June through September.

"Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet" will feature 100, 5 feet in diameter sculpted globes and 200 mini globes. Given a white molded Earth globe, artists from around the world will depict their feelings on global warming through artistic representation. The project is also "carbon neutral," meaning that all carbon energy needed to produce the globes is being returned in through environmentally safe energy.

The InterAct globe is designed by Joe Burlini and features a rainbow and a dove with an olive branch in its beak. The globe represents the power of international relations to come together to reduce the affects of global warming. Burlini's globe captures the essence of peace and the need for international relations.

"The issue of global warming has become a part of every person's life on this planet, as it affects us all," said Andrew J. "Flip" Filipowski, executive chairman and CEO of InterAct Public Safety Systems. "By sponsoring a globe in the Cool Globes project, we are helping to spread the word about global warming and hope to inspire others to educate themselves about climate changes and what changes they can make in their daily lives to combat global warming."
