Atlanta Author Begins Summer Book Tour in Kennesaw, GA

Atlanta native and author, Darlene F. Wofford will be greeting guests and signing her new novel, "Edgewise: An Assignment to Remember" Saturday, June 9th 1-3:00 at Walden's Book Store located in Kennesaw, GA's Towne Center Mall.

(PRWEB) June 3, 2007 -- Darlene F. Wofford, Atlanta native and author of "Edgewise: An Assignment to Remember," begins her summer book tour Saturday, June 9th at Walden Book Store in Kennesaw, GA. Walden's is located next to Sears on the lower level of Towne Center Mall, 1234 Barrett Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30144.    The author will be greeting guests at the front of the store and signing her novel from 1:00-3:00.

Based on true events in the her life, "An Assignment to Remember" is the first of three novels in Wofford's "Edgewise" series, with the second, "Seven Years 'Til Sunrise," scheduled for release next year, followed by the third in 2009. The term "Edgewise" is used to describe the book's protagonist as a shattered woman in an edgewise state of mind--driven to the edge by back-to-back traumas.    However, "An Assignment to Remember" is not as much about the traumatic events as it is about her healing progression and renewed hope, as Mrs. Wofford tells her riveting story through the eyes of her alter-ego, Delaney Rutherford.
