760 Media, a full service, boutique advertising and marketing agency recently launched a cross-border public awareness advertising campaign for the new SAFE 5-1-1 program which offers free phone service for all non-emergency roadside assistance on most San Diego County Freeways.
The campaign can be seen on CBS billboards in San Diego and across the border on the new San Ysidro, LED Video Boards in English and in Spanish. It can also be heard on most of the major radio and television stations, during and after traffic reports on English and Spanish language stations via Metro Traffic Reports.
The SAFE 5-1-1 service is co-sponsored by local county and state organizations including SANDAG and Cal Trans and it offers up-to-the-minute traffic reports and public transit schedules. "This is a great new public service for anyone who drives in San Diego County," says Jeff Donnelley, president of 760 Media, Inc., "And it feels good to work on a program where everyone can actually see our tax dollars at work." He continued.
The public awareness campaign is expected to run through the end of the year and 760 Media hopes to continue working on it in 2008.
