Fall River, Massachusetts (PRWEB) June 8, 2007
Center for Sight is pleased to announce that it has released a comprehensive patient education website (http://www.center-for-sight.com) to assist eye care patients in learning about a number of eye problems and conditions. These include cataracts and cataract surgery, diabetic retinopathy and laser treatments, corneal disease and transplants, macular degeneration and its treatment with injections. The website also has current information on near vision correction after cataract surgery with multifocal lens implants, LASIK, cosmetic plastic eye surgery and non surgical cosmetic treatments such as BOTOX®.
“The Center for Sight Ophthalmologists, Optometrists and staff believe that patients and their families need to have access to high quality, but patient friendly information about their eye conditions and treatment options,” said Jeanne Arruda, Practice Administrator at Center for Sight.
Center for Sight is a comprehensive eye care practice with a staff of six Board Certified Ophthalmologists, including three subspecialty fellowship trained eye surgeons in the areas of corneal disease, medical retina and oculoplastic surgery, as well as three optometrists, all of whom serve the Massachusetts South Coast and Providence, Rhode Island region.
“Our doctors feel that well informed patients can help play a key role in their eye care, and can actually be of considerable benefit when they understand their conditions-so we have taken patient education an extra step and given them a current resource to utilize before and after they come to our practice,” said Ms. Arruda.
