"We're just as passionate as our members when it comes to online collecting, and as a result we're constantly developing new ways to better serve this community," said iTaggit CEO David Altounian. "The newest features on iTaggit's site further equip members with the tools necessary to maintain and grow an organized collection."
Although iTaggit is designed for collectors of every kind, the company also understands the value of creating individual niche communities, especially in the areas of sports, comic, and vehicle collecting, areas in which the company continues to partner with industry leaders and experts. These categories will continue to be a focus for iTaggit in the second half of 2007 and beyond.
"As a serious car enthusiast and collector, a very important thing for me, and most every collector, is keeping track of the hundreds of items, parts and pieces that are acquired throughout the life of the collection," says C Van Tune, former editor in chief of Motor Trend magazine, and popular ESPN TV personality. "Parts and pieces can be misplaced, lost or even stolen, so it's important to take good care in cataloging and documenting each item. What I like about iTaggit is that it offers advanced asset management tools that help collectors seriously keep track of all of their stuff. There's no other comprehensive tool out there that supports a collector the way iTaggit does."
