NYC Artist Michael Storrings Unveils the Fanfare Tabletop Collection Featuring the Neighborhoods of New York City

Sausalito, CA (PRWEB) June 8, 2007 -- Landmark Creations (www.landmark-creations.com) announces a new line of tabletop designed by New York artist Michael Storrings. The Fanfare line coordinates with the exquisite "Scenes of New York" European hand-painted blown glass ornaments that weave the classic neighborhoods of New York City into vignettes.
The tabletop collection features German porcelain plates and mugs depicting Michael's art of "Times Square", "Ellis Island", "Central Park" and "Park Avenue". They are joined by matching corkboard placemats and coasters. Boxed sets of stationery depicting each neighborhood have also been developed.
Michael has expanded the 2007 blown glass ornament line to include "Christmas in the Bronx" and "NYC Performing Arts".hand-painted ball ornaments. Storrings is an award-winning illustrator, designer, and art director working in New York City. Michael has worked in the publishing field since graduating Parsons School of Design. He is the recipient of awards from the AIGA, the Art Directors Club, the Society of Illustrators, Print Magazine, the New York Book Show, and winner of the very first Edgar Award for cover design.
