Oslo, Norway (PRWEB) June 8, 2007 -- Optimalprint , a fast growing online printing company, expands its Nordic coverage by launching its service in Denmark. Optimalprint has, according to alexa.com, grown to become one of Norway's 400 largest web sites in less than 14 weeks and is by far the most visited site for online printing services in Norway.

"Our aspiration is to build a full European online printing service. Until today, we have offered printing services in Sweden and Norway. Launching Optimalprint's online printing service also in Denmark will strengthen our Nordic position. We take part in transforming the printing industry, an enormous industry with significant need for more competition and consolidation. In most cases, we save our customers more than 50% of their printing costs" says Henrik Müller-Hansen, CEO of Optimalprint.

Printing services in the Nordic region -- Sweden, Denmark and Norway -- are heading for increased competition. The Nordic print market was estimated at 2,5 billion Euros for 2006. Printing production and related printing services for Western Europe were at 120-130 billion Euros for 2006. Private consumers and small & medium-sized companies constitute a considerable part of the European printing market but are charged outrageous amounts for printing services. Optimalprint supports both private and corporate customers with design templates. These templates can be personalized with logos, pictures and text directly over the Internet.

Challenging the Traditional Printing Industry
"At Optimalprint, we come from the telecom and consulting industries, where there are constant fierce competition and a need of continuous adaptation. Our experience from these industries strengthens our chances to succeed in a "tired" and traditional printing industry, in need of rapid change. We are convinced that the print market will change radically within the coming years and the volume of online printing services will explode. Launching Optimalprint in Denmark will give the Danish corporations and private consumers access to online printing services at significantly lower prices"
