ETH Zürich and Canoo Offer IT Course on Rich Internet Applications (RIA)
Prof. Dr. Donald Kossmann and Dr. Hans-Dirk Walter to speak on next generation Web applications.
Basel, Switzerland (PRWEB) June 10, 2007 -- As part of the further training program "Compact Courses for IT Professionals", Prof. Dr. Donald Kossmann, ETH Zürich, and Dr. Hans-Dirk Walter, CEO of Canoo Engineering, will present a one day course on "Rich Internet Applications (RIA)" on June 29, 2007 at the ETH Zürich (http://www.inf.ethz.ch/kurs41).
The RIA course is part of a three-day course by Prof. Dr. Gustavo Alonso and Prof. Dr. Donald Kossmann, Computer Science department, ETH Zürich on web-based information systems. This third course day offers a comprehensive introduction to rich user interfaces for Web applications.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, June 20, 2007. The number of attendees is limited. Attending on only one day is possible. Further topics covered in the three-day course include XML and SOA.
