Patio Enclosures, Inc., the leading sunroom company in North America, has named Kenneth S. Sekley as Chairman, to succeed retiring Chairman, Robert J. Schneider.
Macedonia, OH (PRWEB) June 11, 2007 -- Patio Enclosures, Inc., the leading sunroom company in North America, has named Kenneth S. Sekley as Chairman, to succeed retiring Chairman, Robert J. Schneider.

Mr. Sekley joined Patio Enclosures, Inc. in 2004 as President and Chief Operating Officer of the sunroom manufacturing company. He became its CEO January 1, 2007. He previously held senior management positions with ICI/Glidden Paints, LESCO, Inc. and American Cyanamid. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a chemical engineering degree from Princeton University.
The company’s Board of Directors also appointed Craig Cox, Vice President of Manufacturing, to serve as its newest member. Mr. Cox joined Patio Enclosures, Inc. in January, 2000 as Director of Manufacturing and was promoted to Vice President in November of 2002. Mr. Cox earned his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Cleveland State University and an Executive MBA from Baldwin Wallace College.
Mr. Schneider was a guiding force for almost the entire history of Patio Enclosures, Inc. and was instrumental in driving the company to a leadership position in the sunroom industry. He decided to sell the company to his employees in 1996 through an ESOP arrangement. Patio Enclosures, Inc. became 100 percent employee-owned in 2006.
Patio Enclosures, Inc. is the largest manufacturer and installer of sunrooms in North America with more than 200,000 rooms installed. The company has been recognized for several years by Qualified Remodeler Magazine as the Top Performing Sunroom Company in North America.
