Mayfield is an experienced software engineer, application developer and report designer. Most recently he has been serving as a MicroStrategy engineer and consultant. Among his clients was BI-LO, a grocery retailer, for whom his responsibilities included schema design, requirement gathering, report development, user training and report/system documentation for the firm's MicroStrategy reporting environment and data warehouse data integrity efforts. Previously, he served as senior report developer and application administrator working on multiple business intelligence applications within a large grocery retailer. Mayfield has also been staff scientist with Mercer Engineering Research Center in Georgia, serving as an application developer for the U.S. Air Force at Robins Air Force Base. Mayfield is one of a relatively small community of MicroStrategy Certified Engineers.
