Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) June 15, 2007 -- Drexel University Online, a pioneer in Internet-based education programs, has recently added a new security feature to its Bachelor of Science in Computing Technology degree program.
The newly revised program focuses on educating professionals in a variety of corporate, government, and non-profit organizations for critical roles in computer system administration and computing security. Students in this program will have the option to select from a concentration in either Computing Technology, which focuses on the administration and maintenance of information systems or Computing Security, which provides skills required to implement security policies, developing countermeasures and manage the deployment of security solutions.
Similar to Drexel's other online degree programs, this fully-accredited online degree in computing and security technology is offered entirely online, and is intended for working professionals. Students will have 24/7 online access to class materials, group discussion, instructor feedback and exams.
"We're very proud to offer our students the outstanding Drexel curriculum within this convenient online format. All of our online programs, including our bachelor of science in computing technology, are taught by the same world-renowned faculty as our on-campus courses," said Dr. Kenneth Hartman, academic director for Drexel Online.
Applications for Drexel's online Bachelor of Science in Computing and Security Technology are being accepted for all four terms. For more information about this online program, visit Drexel's online degree website, e-mail info(@)drexel.com, or call (877) 215-0009.
