From bucking broncos to steer wrestling to barrel racing -- the annual Shenandoah Rodeo Days, slated for July 6 and 7 at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa's Shenandoah Riding Center in Galena, Ill., has it all.

Galena, Ill. (PRWEB) June 15, 2007 -- From bucking broncos to steer wrestling to barrel racing -- the annual Shenandoah Rodeo Days, slated for July 6 and 7 at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa's Shenandoah Riding Center in Galena, Ill., has it all.

The popular attraction has been going on for over 20 years, featuring cowboys and cowgirls of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. The show, "Bulls 'n' Broncs: Outlaws of Rodeo Tour 2007," is sponsored by Three Hills Rodeo and Outlaws of Rodeo, and features pro rodeo announcer Chris Pyle.

The action begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 6, highlighted by a pyrotechnic show of fireworks synchronized to music. It continues on Saturday, July 7 with a full schedule of competitive events and family entertainment, including bareback and bull riding, clowns and comedy trick riders, and entertainer John Harrison performing as "Miss Rodeo Universe." A free barn dance in the Shenandoah Riding Center is also featured each evening after the rodeo performance.

Lodging at Eagle Ridge for the weekend is $179 per night; if guests stay two nights, they receive a $25 gas card to be used at the General Store.
Advance tickets are available for purchase at Eagle Ridge's front desk at $12 for adults and $7 for children. Tickets are also available at the gate at $15 and $10.
