The online learning program provides specialized vocabularies for each field, enables students to learn regardless of time and place and helps those who need to communicate with the Hispanic population about crucial subjects such as health care.

The Enlightenment Foundation was established this year with the purpose of helping diverse programs based in education and other endeavors. In order to help nurses and a variety of health care providers deal with language issues in their daily activities, a grant has been provided to pay for half of the cost of a six month Basic Spanish course ($300). Students pay $300 each for the other half. All support material is free of charge.
