New Regional Recreation and Healthy-Living Magazine Launched
SBQ - Sports Backers Quarterly- is a new magazine launched in Richmond, VA through a partnership between Metropolitan Richmond Sports Backers, Palari Publishing LLP, and the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Richmond, VA (PRWEB) June 16, 2007 -– The Metropolitan Richmond Sports Backers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health and fitness, has launched SBQ – Sports Backers Quarterly, a new regional fitness magazine. The 32-page publication debuts in August of 2007 with the goal of providing information about healthy living in the Richmond area.
“This publication will appeal to hard-core athletes and adults who are just interested in staying fit and healthy,” says Jon Lugbill, Sports Backers’ executive director. “We will be hand-delivering this to over 20,000 previously identified fitness enthusiasts.” The magazine will offer unique advertising and promotion opportunities for sponsors who want to reach this targeted demographic.
Sports Backers is teaming up with Palari Publishing LLP and the Richmond Times-Dispatch (a Media General company) to produce the publication. Palari Publishing LLP, an independent book and magazine publisher will design, manage, and produce the magazine. Sports Backers will provide editorial direction and oversight while the Times-Dispatch handles distribution and advertising sales.
