The Lodge at Sonoma Refreshes Raindance Spa

The four-diamond resort has completed its $250,000 revamp and added new luxuries and amenities to its Wine Country spa.

Sonoma, CA (PRWEB) June 21, 2007 -- The Lodge at Sonoma, the idyllic Sonoma girlfriend getaway or couples resort, unveils the newly revamped Raindance Spa. In its incarnation, Raindance Spa will provide visitors and locals alike a tranquil haven of charm and relaxation with its new and improved offerings, including an updated wine country design; deluxe new pedicure room and expanded facilities for couples.

Consistently recognized as one of the top spa destinations in the wine country, this Sonoma spa has undergone a reinvention of its space with a new décor that emphasizes the natural appeal and style of the surrounding region.

"Our goal was to create an intimate environment where our guests could relax and enjoy the spa and its complimentary amenities," explains Spa Director Patty Field. "This revamp has allowed us the opportunity to enhance our current offerings, while creating a space and ambiance where guests feel a sense of privacy and comfort."

Further adding to the wine country spa's understated charm, rich textures and tones of mustards, merlots and browns have been incorporated into new carpet, wall surfaces and furniture throughout the spa. Additional enhancements that have been made during the refresh include:

· Transformation of the "Fire Room" relaxation area, complete with new furniture and couple's chaise lounges.
· New pedicure room outfitted with three pedicure spas.
· Expanded retail boutique, offering a more comprehensive selection of Raindance Spa wellness and beauty products, as well as offerings from the product lines of June Jacobs Spa Collection, L'Oliver, Sonoma Lavender Incorporated, and TRUE mineral makeup.
· Addition of a new couple's tub to the "Raindance Suite."
· New concierge kiosk, allowing employees the opportunity to better assist the needs of guests.

Following Raindance Spa's revamp, the Sonoma hotel will continue its property-wide refresh with a soft-goods renovation of the main-lodge in June 2007. Raindance Spa is open daily, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. For reservations, please call the spa at 707.931.2034. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required.
