Move Over Chicken Soup, There is a New Book in Town
There's a hot new book coming to town. Flowers in a Urinal; real stories about real women is designed as a vehicle for women to tell their story and empower others. Author, Tracey Tarrant, says, "I hope by reading stories of other women that may be in similar situations, it will give them the inspiration to stand up and make a change. Women need to know they are not alone."
Villa Rica, GA (PRWEB) June 23, 2007 -- Author Tracey Tarrant is launching a new book series. Called "Flowers in a Urinal; real stories about real women", the book is a designed to empower women across the globe. "Women need to tell their stories," Tarrant said. "I'm merely providing them the vehicle in which to do so."
Tarrant says her goal is to help women be strong and stand up for themselves. "I hope by reading stories of other women that may be in similar situations, it will give them the inspiration to stand up and make a change. Women need to know they are not alone."
When asked about the title, Tarrant responded, "I got the idea at a conference. There were over 2,500 women at this event and they turned the men's restrooms into women's restrooms. They put flowers petals in the urinals to make them more attractive."
The book is expected to launch late this year. "We all have a story," Tarrant says, "It's time you told yours."
Stories can be submitted on Tarrant's website, www.flowersinaurinal.com.
