Wireless Communication Solution Provider Improves Business Operations with Microsoft Dynamics GP and BCG Systems

Akron, OH (PRWEB) June 25, 2007 -- BCG Systems, Inc. announced today another example of how it provides information management solutions that maximize its customers' return on investment, with the successful deployment of Microsoft Dynamics GP at Numerex, Corp., (Nasdaq: NMRX). Numerex is a leader in fixed and mobile machine to machine (M2M) wireless solutions, used extensively to provide wireless security alarm communications, as well as a broad range of reliable, competitive network services and technology.
Rapid growth had stretched Numerex's software to its limits. BCG Systems was invited to propose a solution that would address three significant needs, including: audit trails and security needed for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance; the ability to consolidate accounting transactions spanning nine subsidiaries; and a robust database capable of handling a high transaction volume. Tim Farrow, vice president of finance at Numerex, wanted to leverage one of the two existing software systems in either the parent or subsidiary company.
"One advantage of BCG Systems is that they resell both systems, so we were able to get an unbiased opinion," Farrow explained. "We gave them an idea of what our requirements were, and they helped us with the analysis. BCG Systems is very knowledgeable about both products we were considering."
After a detailed analysis phase, BCG Systems proposed a solution based on Microsoft Dynamics GP. With a clear plan in place, the implementation went smoothly. Numerex is already reaping the benefits of the consolidated system, with more accurate and timely information about unit and connection sales. By consolidating billings, Numerex has been able to reduce the number of invoices from 10,000 to 7,000 a month -- with the attendant savings in human resources, paper, and postage.
Numerex next plans to engage BCG Systems to implement the Microsoft Dynamics GP Business Portal. This will allow the outside sales team to access order information, and executives to view key performance information without needing to access the accounting system.
