Aware Technologies, Inc. Acquired by Idhasoft; Aware to Offer Wider Range of Services for Customers; Remains Focused on Easing the Pain and Complexity of Software Licensing

Aware Technologies, Inc., announced today that Idhasoft has acquired Aware for an undisclosed amount of capital comprised of both cash and stock. Aware will be merged with Idhasoft Systems Integration division, Cavaya.

San Carlos, CA (PRWEB) June 26, 2007 -- Aware Technologies, Inc., a leader in alleviating the complexity, confusion and costs customers face when dealing with software licensing, announced today that Idhasoft, the fastest growing private company in India, has acquired Aware for an undisclosed amount of capital comprised of both cash and stock. Aware will be merged with Idhasoft Systems Integration division, Cavaya.

As Oracle's second largest technology software reseller in the commercial business, Aware will remain focused on software licensing for Oracle as well as Veritas, IBM, VMWare, and BEA Systems. Aware's customer roster includes Anheuser-Busch, EBay, Delta Dental, Harley Davidson, IAC, Sandisk, Compuware, and News America.

Idhasoft is a leading solution and IT services provider in the retail, banking, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, services and insurance domains.

"We believe that the acquisition of Aware is very strategic for Idhasoft. The combination of software license sale and services will drive significantly more value to our customers," said Idhasoft CEO Alok Pathak. "We will serve the customers as a one stop shop with our global delivery capabilities. This acquisition also brings significant value to strategic partners like Oracle."

Idhasoft, with US headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia and offices across the country, made Aware its sixth acquisition of complimentary technology companies in the past six months.

"Aware is excited to take this next step in our evolution," said Deke Johnson, founder and CEO of Aware. "Aware will be able to provide a broader range of services to our customers and that is certainly a win-win for our strong customer base. Otherwise, it will be business as usual for us."

Cavaya welcomes the addition of Aware Technologies into our systems integration division," said Sudhir Saxena, president, Cavaya. "With Aware's experience serving customers and a very strong sales base, I look forward to working closely with Deke and his team."
