Multi-Tier Technologies Inc., New Player on the Canadian Data Centre Scene, Announces Partnership with BRUNS-PAK Corporation

This facility will provide extreme flexibility for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and corporations requiring unique data centre environments and control over their future growth. Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) June 28, 2007 -- Multi-Tier Technologies Inc. (MTT) is building a new option for the data centre / co-lo market in Markham, Ontario. This facility will provide extreme flexibility for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and corporations requiring unique data centre environments and control over their future growth. MTT will be breaking ground in spring, 2007. Potential clients will work with BRUNS-PAK Corporation, a leading design, engineering and contracting firm. A special benchmark project evaluation service is being offered to companies interested in Multi-Tier Technologies and BRUNS-PAK's jointly-developed data centre solution.

"The two companies will provide a unique capability to design and build to client requirements," said Bill Henneberry, VP Business Development/Partner, Multi-Tier Technologies Inc. "By working with BRUNS-PAK we can execute our founding vision -- protecting our clients' investments by accommodating their current requirements and long term requirements for expected and unexpected growth. We are unique in the Canadian scene; we see ourselves as co-owners with our clients -- an unprecedented shift for the Canadian scene."

"We welcome our new relationship with Multi-Tier Technologies," said Mark Evanko, President and Principal Engineer, BRUNS-PAK Corporation. "The industry is undergoing unprecedented change -- more in the last 3-5 years than the previous 20. High density computing arrays are making many existing data centres obsolete or difficult to manage. The old metric of design, based on uniform Watt requirements per square foot, no longer works. The green-fields approach MTT is taking provides a new option that is more flexible, efficient and more ecologically sound."

Multi-Tier Technologies will strive to exceed client expectations with the highest level SLAs for customer service, technology, compliance and responsiveness. Superior quality of service will ensure 24x7x365 uptime.

The new building will consider "green" initiatives and also review the viability of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification based on specific client's requests.

BRUNS-PAK has more that than 28 years experience designing, engineering, and constructing advanced computing and technology facilities. It has executed more than 3,500 projects in the healthcare, banking/financial, industrial, and retail sectors, with a 98% repeat customer return. BRUNS-PAK maintains a full-service staff of licensed civil, electrical and mechanical engineers as well as architects, construction project managers, system specialists, CADD technicians, and other skilled professionals. They maintain business partnerships with major hardware/equipment manufacturers.

The Multi-Tier Technologies and BRUNS-PAK collaboration will provide extreme flexibility for Canadian Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and corporations requiring unique data centre environments. Interested parties are invited to request an initial plan to benchmark against existing plans. Areas of investigation will include:
.   thermal air-flow analysis
.   site evaluation, selection and planning
.   network analysis
.   reliability studies
.   single point of failure analysis
.   relocation evaluations
.   merger/consolidation studies
