Time Traveling Army Battle Captured in Blu-ray Laser Light

Sony Blu-ray Disc advert captures dramatic movie action sequences in pure laser light

(PRWEB) June 29, 2007 -- Sony today releases a high production online video capturing dramatic action sequences lit purely with lasers.

Cue a battle of gladiators versus futuristic robo-cops; suped-up sports cars being dropped from a sheer height; a pack of wolves let lose on the set; and raindrops striking a rhythmic drum kit beat. All brought to life in a new way as a bank of lasers dance over the action - providing dramatic glimpses of HD visual scenes.

Filmed on location within a working industrial chimney in Hungary, all shots were taken in the absence of any form of natural light.

The stunning end result is a video that brings to life the new level of viewing experience that Sony Blu-ray Disc offers. The video follows the recent opening of the Museum of Low Res, a virtual journey of discovery illustrating how Blu-ray Disc will change the way consumers view their home entertainment.

The full HD video can be found here: http://www.blu-ray.sony-europe.com/player/
