Puget Custom Computer ships first DDR3 computers

Puget Custom Computers rolls out first systems integrated with DDR3 memory modules.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) June 30, 2007 -- Puget Custom Computers successfully shipped its first batch of DDR3-integrated systems today, marking its first foray into the new specification and the first integrator to announce customizable systems utilizing the technology. The systems were built using Kingston's low latency HyperX 1375Mhz modules and Asus' P5K3 motherboards. The combination was rigorously tested and certified using Puget's standard 47 point build process.

Jon Bach, president of Puget Custom Computers said, "We are very happy to announce our fastest performing systems yet. The systems are solid and stable and our first customers are very eager to get their hands on these."

DDR3 technology promises to scale to twice the speed of the current DDR2 products on the market, at lower voltages and less heat. The memory is supported by the newest chipset from Intel, the P35 northbridge.

"Our goal has been to be consistent early adopters in the enthusiast market. We've successfully accomplished that again with this release, and we're looking forward to delivering the high performance of this new line to the eager masses," said Bach.
